Will discuss key concepts of building 3 layer constructs involving midface to achieve normal appearing midface.

It will also cover my current algorithm on total rhinectomy reconstruction using either local flap (lateral nasal wall flap) or free flap reconstruction (osteocutaneous radial forearm FF).

For maxillectomy, latest free flap designs that include scapula tip flap for posterior maxillectomy, KLS Preprosthetic + radial FF for 1-stage dental rehabilitation involving posterior maxillectomy, layered fibula flap for combined supra & infrastructure maxillectomy, mega flap for bilateral maxillectomy with large soft tissue defect, and custom hardware for composite midface & upper face defect.
